Michigan enters CFP as +170 favorite 🎥

The College Football Playoff is set and the betting odds continue a recurring theme from this entire season: parity.

Michigan is a +170 overall favorite and that is the highest moneyline for any favorite in the CFP’s 10-year existence. By comparison, Georgia was a -145 favorite last year.

Additionally, Washington is the “longshot” of the four remaining teams with +750 odds. Only once before has the CFP had all four teams with shorter odds than that, entering the semifinals.

The Wolverines are 1.5-point favorites over Alabama in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. The over/under is 46.

Texas and Washington will face off in the Sugar Bowl later that evening. More points are expected with a total of 64. The Longhorns are about 4.5-point favorites.
