Riding a three-game win streak, the Indiana Fever and women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark are starting to make a little noise in the betting market.
Oddsmakers now have coinflip odds on their chances to qualify for the WNBA postseason. FanDuel is offering -113 odds on both the YES and the NO, while Caesars Sportsbook has -115 on each side.
Indiana is 6-10 and currently the eight seed, which is the last playoff spot. Four of the 12 teams miss the playoffs.
Indiana opened the season with a 1-8 record but the schedule was frontloaded with top teams. Plus, the Fever played their first 11 games in 20 days, which was the busiest start for any team in league history. ‘
The Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics have the fewest wins, as both have been hit hard with injuries. The L.A. Sparks are 4-11 and just lost rookie Cameron Brink for the season with a torn ACL.
Rookie Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky are 4-9 and currently have the ninth seed.
