Angel Reese is certainly making some noise and then some. For the first time all season, the rookie is leading the WNBA in rebounding thanks to monster efforts. She’s coming off a 16 rebound performance. So she now edges past A’ja Wilson for the overall rebounding lead, rebounds per game that is. Okay, so the sky in Atlanta to face the dream. Atlanta, a short one and a half point favorite here and the over under 159 and a half.

Ryan Howard, still out for Atlanta. She’s their best player, former Rookie of the Year herself, but also Ariel Powers will miss this game. She’s sort of a spark plug off the bench and a pretty good jolt of offense when she gets going and things like that. Now, obviously Alicia Gray and some of those others are more reliable or more prominent in the Atlanta offense, but this one has underwritten all over for me.

So I’m going to take the under, I mean, it’s a low number, 159 and a half. That’s less than 40 a quarter, but the dream can go through long droughts. And while I think Kennedy Carter is excellent on offense and Chicago does have some pieces that can score, they go through some scoring droughts as well. In their last game on Sunday, we saw them hit a wall down the stretch against the links. They blew a lead and Minnesota actually won, not just won but covered. So I’m going to go under in this game.

As for Angel Reese, at least 13 rebounds in five of her last six games. Her prop is now as high as it’s been all year, 12 and a half. And get this, the over-under, the juice at Draftkings is minus 135. That’s absurd. It’s minus 120 at FanDuel. I can’t bet the over. I understand she’s on a tear and she’s got a WNBA record, 10 straight double doubles, but still, that’s just too much juice for 13 rebounds.

When Atlanta can crash the boards and some of rebounding, I mean, look, her motor’s great, energy is a skill, as Jay Bilas always says, so she’s gonna get her rebounds, but 13’s a lot, and obviously the opposing team knows about her rebounding prowess, so I can’t condone it. In fact, I’m on the other side. I at least lean to the under. If you can give me plus 05 on under 12 and a half. Now, the Sky have faced the dream once this year. She got 13 rebounds in 33 minutes in that loan meeting, but still, I at least gonna lean to the under on her prop. 12 and a half just feels too high, especially when you’re getting plus money on the under.
