Game two of an Amazon Prime doubleheader on Tuesday features the Las Vegas Aces hosting Angel Reese in the Chicago sky. Big spotlight on a game that has a double digit spread. Vegas favored by 13 points over under 170. So interesting matchup given Chicago’s offensive limitations. I love what Kennedy Carter does offensively, but Chicago will crash the boards and rebound. They have Cardoso, obviously, Angel Reese, the leading rebounder in the WNBA.

But the Aces have two bigs as well. Obviously, Aja Wilson, but don’t forget about Keya Stokes. And I think that’s where the Aces have the gap. They’re not gonna be overwhelmed on the glass and in the paint by the size and effort of Chicago, but they have so much more offense and the shooting. Now, maybe we can get going for Chicago, but for the most part, now with Chelsea Gray running the helm, I say now because she wasn’t available the last time these two teams met in the Windy City.

I just think you get Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young and all the other sort of outside threats from the Aces and I just think they’re going to just outscore them. Now 13 is a big number so it’s a mirror lean there but I as much as I like betting on Chicago to cover I just don’t think they have the offensive horses to compete with this Vegas offense. Now I think the prop market’s super interesting because you have the top two in the entire W.

So let’s start with Aja Wilson who’s come into this game with at least 17 rebounds in three straight games. Her over under for rebounds is 12 and a half. She only got six in the previous meeting. So given the size with Cardoso and then Angel Reese efforts on the glass, and then let’s not forget Stokes and some of the long rebounds off three pointers that some of the perimeter players will get. I do like the under. I just think there’s so many players competing for rebounds.

I like under for Aja at 12 and a half. Now Angel Reese is 13 and a half. She had 11 in the last meeting, but she was plagued by foul trouble because I she had to guard Aja most of that first half and Aja got two quick ones drawn on her when Angel Reese was guarding her. I leaned to the under for Angel Reese, but it’s hard to take both players under and it’s both juiced.

So I think the better bet is Aja under 12 and a half rebounds, even though she’s got at least 17 and three straight. I think the matchup kind of favors the under, but for the Reese prop, I would also at least lean to the under.
