After home wins over contenders in their season openers, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers remain conference favorites and even saw their odds lowered.
KC is the overall Super Bowl favorite with +475 odds (down from +500) at DraftKings and Patrick Mahomes is the +400 MVP favorite. The Chiefs are trying to become the first team ever to win three straight championships.
The Niners are hoping to overcome a long list of struggles for the Super Bowl losing team and defeated the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. San Francisco is the second favorite with +550 odds.
A key injury rattled the NFC a bit. Green Bay’s Jordan Love suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to miss several weeks. The Packers’ Super Bowl odds shifted from +1700 to +3500.
The Philadelphia Eagles made ground, winning a coinflip game in Brazil over the Packers and are now tied with the Detroit Lions for third favorite status with +1100 odds. Detroit also picked up a win in its opener.
After losing the opener in KC, the Baltimore Raves have the shortest odds of any team that lost. Their odds increased from +900 to +1200.
The New England Patriots entered the season with the longest odds in the neighborhood of 275-to-1. After an upset win at the Cincinnati Bengals, their odds are now 150-to-1.
The Carolina Panthers are now the biggest longshot with 350-to-1 odds.
