The NBA’s surprise blockbuster trade between playoff teams reverberated across the sports world but the betting market barely adjusted the odds.

The New York Knicks acquired four-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo, according to media reports.

The win totals for each team did not move. New York remains at 54.5 wins for the upcoming season, while Minnesota sits at 52.5 wins.

However, their championship futures slightly lowered. The Knicks are the third-favorite at FanDuel with +750 odds, after beginning the week in the neighborhood of +900 consensus odds.

The T’Wolves have +1000 odds and are tied for the fourth-favorite, depending on the sportsbook.
