Pretty cool Wednesday we have for all baseball fans. All four division series taking place. Yankees head to Kansas City to face the Royals for game 3. Their series tied 1-1. Yanks bats win silent in game 2, which has been sort of the case in the series. 3-19 with runners in scoring position. They’re almost lucky to be 1-1. Turn the page, Royals the home team, but it’s a coin flip. Money line, Yanks -115. Your over/under 8.

Seth Lugo going for the Royals and Clarke Schmidt going for the Yankees. Remember, he returned from injury in September. He had been out since May. He’s been so-so. 5-5record, but more importantly, the ERA under 3. I rely on him. I’m relying on him. I think he’s going to be just fine, all things considered. The bats got to wake up. Yankee struggling with runners in scoring position. Aaron Judge is 1-7 in the series with four strikeouts. Career batting average in the playoffs is barely over 200. Small sample size but worth mentioning given his dominance in the regular season.

As for the Royals, three of their four games have gone under. Their bats aren’t exactly on fire. Obviously, Witt’s been incredible. But outside of that, Salvi Perez had a big homer. But I think Schmidt gets it done for the Yanks. And I think their bullpen steps up as well.
