Entering the penultimate weekend of college football’s regular season, #6 Georgia assumed its only playoff path was an at-large bid. But the SEC saw two significant upsets and now the Bulldogs are in the conference championship game.
Georgia is now a -155 favorite at DraftKings to win the title game against either #3 Texas or #20 Texas A&M. The Longhorns are 5.5-point road favorites at Kyle Field on Saturday to end the regular season. The winner advances to the SEC title game.
Opening the door for Georgia was #13 Alabama’s loss at Oklahoma and #15 Ole Miss losing at Florida.
The Bulldogs finished their conference schedule with a 6-2 mark. They UMass 59-21 last weekend and are 19.5-point home favorites to Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Texas is +175 to win the SEC title game and Texas A&M is +800.
