In perhaps the season’s most memorable play, Josh Allen recorded a unique receiving touchdown in snow conditions on national tv, as the quarterback became the odds-on NFL MVP favorite with -230 odds at FanDuel.

Allen threw a completion to Amari Cooper but as the wide receiver was being tackled, he lateraled the ball to Allen, who then raced to the endzone to score a TD by diving and extending the ball inside the pylon. The home crowd at Orchard Park celebrated and the primetime audience witnessed a dominating effort.

Buffalo improved to 10-2 and clinched its fifth straight AFC East tile in a 35-10 blowout of the San Francisco 49ers. The Bills still trail 11-1 Kansas City for the AFC’s top seed, although Buffalo owns the tiebreaker by beating the Chiefs in Week 11.

Allen entered the weekend as the MVP favorite with odds around +120 and just ahead of the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson (+200). But Saquon Barkely and the Philadelphia Eagles defeated Baltimore, moving Barkley’s odds from +450 to +220. Barkley is now still the second favorite but his odds are +500, since Allen became a larger favorite.

Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions improved to 11-1 on Thanksgiving. Goff and Jackson are the third favorites with +1100 odds. Patrick Mahomes is next with +1500 odds.
