Recreational sports bettors love trends, especially when the actual trend is connected to Las Vegas.

So far, in the newly-formed NBA Cup that plays its neutral site games in Las Vegas, Unders have cashed in all five games so far. In fact, the quarterfinal games are also 6-2 to the Under.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Milwaukee Bucks in Tuesday’s championship game. OKC is favored by 4.5 points with an over/under of 213.5 points.

In last year’s two meetings, the totals were 224.5 and 233.5. The games featured 232 and 211 points, respectively. However, the betting market has been adjusting for the NBA Cup games because of better defense and fewer fouls called.

One playful storyline centers around Bucks assistant Darvin Ham. After running the table (8-0) last year as head coach of the Lakers, Ham is now 13-0 in NBA Cup games.
