Upon the announcement that Ben Johnson will be the next Chicago Bears head coach, their 2026 Super Bowl odds shifted from +6000 to +4500.

Johnson has been the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator for the last three seasons and orchestrated a unit that lit up scoreboards and impressed fans with explosiveness and trick plays.

Chicago reportedly interviewed 17 candidates but the 38-year-old Johnson was considered the prized target for all vacancies. He is believed to have been offered more money by the Las Vegas Raiders but ultimately he opted for former top overall pick Caleb Williams.

Johnson replaces Matt Eberflus, who was fired Thanksgiving weekend.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the +600 Super Bowl favorites for the 2025-26 season.
