The two NFL conferences are about as different as could be this season. On one side, the AFC seems stacked with talent and has eight teams boasting a .500 record or better through seven weeks of action. Meanwhile, the NFC is top-heavy and features the only five teams in the league that have one loss or less so far.
While all of that is worth taking into consideration, it is way too early to tell which team has the upper hand when it comes to Super Bowl odds. That means taking a chance on some of these long-shot bets could pay off in the long run. All odds are according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tennessee Titans to Win the Super Bowl (+1800)
The last two weeks have gone better for the Tennessee Titans than anyone could’ve expected. They upset the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 6 and then destroyed the reigning AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7. Running back Derrick Henry had been carrying the offense, but the team has proven they can win without him recently as well.
This is a squad that has the potential to shock the world in the playoffs. Keep in mind that they made a run to the AFC Championship game just two seasons ago. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is starting to take care of the football, so this one may come down to the defense. All things considered, the Titans have a lot of underrated value at +1800 odds (T-No. 9 in NFL).

Cincinnati Bengals to Make the Super Bowl (+1600)
Talk about a team that is certainly exceeding expectations through the first half. The Bengals were expected to be a contending team within the next couple of seasons, but the time is now for Cincinnati. Quarterback Joe Burrow is playing at a Pro Bowl level and has guided this team to a hold of first place in the AFC North with a 5-2 record heading into Week 8.
However, the main story here is the defense. The Bengals are giving up just 18.3 points and 339.9 total yards of offense per game. Both of those marks rank within the top 10 teams in the NFL. With solid depth on both sides of the ball, Cincinnati is a candidate to sneak out of the AFC conference. They’re worth a shot at +1600 odds.

Super Bowl Winning Division: NFC West (+350)
Betting this market simply comes down to looking at how the strength at the top of these divisions compare to one another. Simply put, the NFC West looks to be the best bet. It owns two of the top teams in the NFC in the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams. They have combined for a 13-1 record so far and are each scoring at least 29.6 points per game.
It’s not unrealistic to say the San Francisco 49ers or Seattle Seahawks find a way to earn a wild card spot, either. That gives the NFC West a substantial chance to field a Super Bowl team. As long as these teams stay hot, this number is only going to drop in value. Bet it now before it’s too late.
