This is a halftime show you do not want to miss. It is going to be a monumental performance of legends – Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Dr. Dre will grace the stage together in the City of Angels. This is a big moment for Los Angeles. It has been nearly 30 years since the city has hosted a Super Bowl, and Dre, Snoop, and Lamar are all LA natives. We are all gonna be jammin – from coast to coast!
A new area of music for the NFL, Snoop Dogg explained, “This is what it’s about. This is what hip hop and the NFL is supposed to be about: representing about a change, about moving forward, so we appreciate the NFL for even entertaining hip hop.”
Dr. Dre reiterated the importance of the historic show, “We’re gonna open more doors for hip hop artists in the future and making sure that the NFL understands this is what it should have been a long time ago.” Hip hop will forever have a spot in the NFL Super Bowl halftime show.
