We’ll have some LIV Tour content coming soon, but the FedEx Cup Playoffs end this Sunday at the conclusion of the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club. Due to the format of the event, we have one heavy favorite to take the win, but there are still some good bets available on the rest of the field.
The Favorite: Scottie Scheffler
Scheffler is the heavy favorite and the only one worth considering for the win. He came into the event with a two-stroke advantage just based on how well he has played this season, and has only extended that lead since the tournament started. Look for Scheffler to close out this event with comfort.
Top Five: Rory McIlroy
McIlroy finds himself in a big group of golfers that could finish anywhere from third to 13th. Given his track record at East Lake Golf Club, a bet on McIlroy to finish in the top five could be worth it. There are two days for McIlroy to solidify himself in the top five, and you will likely be able to find plus odds. This is a bet to keep an eye on.
Top Ten: Colin Morikawa
Morikawa is one of the few who currently stands outside of the top ten and has a decent chance of sneaking in. He will likely be a stroke or two back of a group of golfers who are tied for the tenth spot heading into Saturday. He is the one player with plus odds to finish in the top ten who is worth a shot.
