Sports. It brings the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. We all root for our favorite teams and we are passionate. We watch the games, we buy the merchandise, and we follow the scores like it’s life or death, especially during the playoffs seasons.
So what do we do when our favorite team loses? It’s obvious there’s a period of mourning the loss. But then you shift. You transfer your allegiance. For me, coming off of a horrific Game 7 in Boston and the Celtics are done, what should I do now?
Obviously, I will root for the Red Sox because that’s the only team playing right now. But do I pick up a new hobby? Do I start paddle boarding or sea kayaking? Maybe play a little more golf? It’s hard to find time when you have multiple kids but you have to adapt and move on. That’s what I’m trying to do.
I live in Florida. It’s really hot here in the summer, but there are still activities to do. Do I take up fishing? Should I become a paddleboarder or sea kayaker? Sounds fun because I can also fish while I do it, but I’m not sure. Let me know what you think I should do and tell me what you were going to do this summer at [email protected]. It’s summer, let’s have some fun.
