These past six weeks of my life have been amazing. Why is that, you ask? Because these past six weeks of Aaron Rodgers’ life have been amazing. The New York Jets star quarterback has been taking in anything and everything that is his new home. From watching the Bradway musical Wicked to catching a Knicks game, Rodgers is soaking in the glitz and glamor of New York City.
Aside from going to the Milwaukee Bucks games, Wisconsin doesn’t have a lot to offer a single, almost 40 guy. So it makes sense to see Rodgers at almost every major event. Just in the last six weeks, we’ve seen Rodgers dancing at a Taylor Swift concert, posing at the Tony Awards, courtside at multiple Knicks games, enjoying the view at an Ed Sheeran concert, on the jumbotron at a Rangers game, and backstage on Broadway.
“But all that Rodgers is doing has nothing to do with the Jets and how he’ll play,” you and/or someone might probably say. True, but he is spending a lot of time with his teammates and it seems to be paying off — Rodgers has a perfect attendance at the Jets OTAs, compared to his no-shows in 2021 and 2022 at the Packers OTAs. And better attendance at practices is only going to translate positively on the field for Rodgers. Just wait and see. For now, go check out CBS Sports’ Instagram post of Rodgers enjoying his time in the Big Apple and check back here for more updates!
