Welcome to the daily MLB player props picks! We’re looking at some of the most enticing player props and diving into why we like the picks.
Austin Riley O 1.5 Total Bases +115
The Braves’ third baseman has been solid. While Austin Riley may not exactly be playing up to his standards to start the season, I like him to have a big night tonight for a couple of different reasons. First, Riley has had success against Phillies starter Ranger Suarez. Even though it’s a small sample size, Riley has hit Suarez very well and has a .417 average against him in 12 at-bats. Also, Suarez is a left-handed pitcher and Riley has fared much better against southpaws this season. Riley has only faced lefties in a third of his at-bats, but has five of his 11 home runs against them and his OPS is much better against lefties at .824. This makes me think Riley could be due for a couple of hits tonight or even a home run, and I’d like him to record over 1.5 bases at +115.
Tommy Pham O 1.5 Total Bases +180
I absolutely love the value of this pick tonight. In the month of June, Tommy Pham has been one of the best hitters in baseball, recording 10 extra base hits, hitting .327, and posting an OPS of 1.040. Even though the Astros have their ace on the mound tonight with Framber Valdez, he is a left-handed pitcher and Pham is a right-handed batter which might help him. Pham has also recorded 2+ bases in four of his last five games so I love the value at +180 tonight.
Nathan Eovaldi O 5.5 Strikeouts -154
Nathan Eovaldi has been lights out for the Rangers so far this season and already has 92 strikeouts this season. Eovaldi also has over six strikeouts in each of his last three starts and in two of those three starts, he has thrown over 100 pitches. This shows the Rangers are comfortable letting Eovaldi go deep into games, which makes feel even better that he can reach his strikeout total tonight. On the season, Eovaldi has struck out 6+ batters in 10 of his 14 starts, which makes me really like his line at 5.5.
I really like all these picks tonight and if you’re feeling just as confident as me, you could parlay all these picks at +892 odds. This would be a nice payout if all of these picks cash. Either way, best of luck to all tonight and hopefully we win some money.
