The Miami Dolphins are one of nine teams to start 2-0 but the postseason awards market is singling out their main figures. Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and head coach Mike McDaniel are all betting favorites.
Tagovailoa is now the MVP favorite, passing Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes. He entered the season at +1800 and is now +500 at FanDuel. This comes after improving to 5-0 against Bill Belichick with a primetime win over the New England Patriots. In the season opener, the quarterback passed for a league-high 466 yards and three touchdowns to eke out a road win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hill sits atop the NFL Offensive Player of the Year betting board at +800 at DraftKings. Against the Chargers, Hill caught 11 balls for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He was limited against New England but did notch one receiving TD.
McDaniel is the +700 favorite for Coach of the Year at DraftKings. The second-year coach has implemented a pass-happy offense, enabling Tagovailoa, Hill and Jaylen Waddle to thrive.
The Dolphins are 2-0 for the second straight year and currently sit at +1500 to win the Super Bowl.
