Doug Kezirian breaks down the Divisional Round and offers a Game 1 play.
The MLB Divisional Round begins on Saturday with the Atlanta Braves as the clear +260 World Series favorites at FanDuel.
Atlanta hosts defending National League champion Philadelphia in a best-of-five series, after the Phillies swept the Miami Marlins in the Wild Card Round. The Phillies allowed just two runs in the two-game sweep.
All four Wild Card series were sweeps, with the underdogs winning two. That includes the Texas Rangers, who saw their championship odds lower from +1700 to +950. Texas outscored Tampa Bay, 11-1, after the Rays won 99 games during the regular season, which was the second-most in the American League.
Despite winning their division on a tiebreaker, the Houston Astros (+490) have the shortest World Series odds of any A.L. team. The Baltimore Orioles won 11 more games and have +700 odds.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have the longest title odds at +1400 and are +160 underdogs to the Los Angeles Dodgers in their best-of-five series. Clayton Kershaw will start Game 1 for L.A., which is the second overall World Series favorite at +440.
