Just one month into the NBA season, Denver’s Nikola Jokic is separating himself from other superstars and has become the clear MVP betting favorite. In the past week, his odds have lowered from +400 to +200 at FanDuel, and the SuperBook currently has the shortest number at +150.

Jokic leads the league in rebounding (13.4 per game) and sits eighth in scoring (28.8). The two-time MVP is coming off an NBA title and Finals MVP. Jokic is seeking his third MVP award in four seasons.

The biggest mover in the futures market has been Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. Edwards is 11th in the league in scoring, averaging 26.6 points per game, 5.3 assists,  and is shooting 37.0% on three-pointers. As a result of his strong start, Edwards’ MVP odds have shortened dramatically from +4000 last week to +2600.
