Navigating the Winter Olympics on Sports Betting Apps
FanDuel Sportsbook is the go-to option for betting on the Winter Olympic Games. It’s fast payouts and large promotions are only a peek into why it has become the fastest-growing sports betting app in the country. A tab labeled Olympics can be found conveniently at the top or side of the homepage. It is as simple as picking which sport to look at from there. FanDuel even has an option to view specific men’s or women’s events and a time is slated at the bottom of each description listing when it will take place.
Most of the live betting opportunities will come within the sports of hockey and curling given the amount of matchups needed to determine a winner. Otherwise, most bettors will be looking to bet on individual or country medal winners. For example, Team USA member Chloe Kim is the favorite to earn the gold medal in the snowboarding halfpipe event at -230 odds. That means a typical $100 bet would return $143.48 overall.
Norway is the odds-on favorite to finish the Winter Olympic Games with the most gold medals at -400. Seeing them as a heavy favorite shouldn’t be surprising given the Norwegians locked down 14 gold medals at PyeongChang back in 2018. That total tied Germany for the highest gold medal total. Meanwhile, Team USA checks in with the fifth-best odds at +1200.
The #WinterOlympics start TONIGHT at 8PM ET on @NBC and @PeacockTV.
