This is a situational handicap if I’ve ever seen one. The Minnesota Lynx fresh off the Commissioner’s Cup title on Tuesday night in New York where they each player wins around $30,000. Huge feather in their cap and cash. And now they go play the Dallas Wings who have lost 11 straight and have the worst record in the WNBA. So how do you handicap Minnesota’s focus, all that good stuff. And it’s an early start on Thursday in Dallas.

I love the Lynx. Anyone who watches this program or follows the website on our app, Only Players, certainly knows I love it. 14 and three against the spread. Just an absolute beast. But the scheduling spot screams Dallas, at least first quarter, first half, something like that. And that’s where I would look in this one. I would look to the wings first half or the first quarter. The links are polished, so well coached, execution’s excellent. They’re top players, such a reliable player to bet on, but I just think the scheduling spot is horrendous and maybe the Dallas is going to play a little better. Now they couldn’t figure out Washington, but it is a team getting healthy, right? Natasha Howard’s back. Arike Ogunbowale missed a game and a half, I think with an achilles thing. So they have talent. They should be a lot better. I believe their win total entering the season was 17 and a half. So they are expected to be much better. Savoli is going to come back eventually, but I think the stars align here where I would take the wings at home first quarter and first half just a little bit. I think the situation just is screaming Dallas.
