The betting market suggests the Heisman Trophy is currently a two-horse race between Pac-12 quarterbacks. Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. (+140) and Oregon’s Bo Nix (+200) squared off on Oct. 14 and are poised to meet again in the conference title game.

Penix just outlasted reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams of USC with three total touchdowns in the Huskies’ 52-42 win in Los Angeles. Nix shredded the Cal defense with six total touchdowns in a lopsided win.

Michigan’s JJ McCarthy and Florida State’s Jordan Travis have the next-shortest odds at +800. Georgia’s Carson Beck climbed the charts and is now +1200. All three are quarterbacks of undefeated schools that have College Football Playoff aspirations.

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has +2000 odds. Williams is now a 120-to-1 longshot after opening the season as the betting favorite.
