Cavs’ Atkinson Coach of Year favorite

With a 7-0 start, Cleveland Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson is the new +500 Coach of the Year betting favorite at FanDuel. Cleveland is also undefeated against the point spread, which indicates the team is outperforming expectations.

Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla and JJ Redick of the Los Angeles Lakers are the second favorite with +600 odds.

Mike Budenholzer of the 5-1 Phoenix Suns is next with +650 odds.

As a media member with ESPN, Redick co-hosted a podcast with LeBron James last year. His intensity and acumen with video analysis generated buzz throughout the entire season, ultimately leading to his hire.
