Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter is now a massive Heisman Trophy betting favorite with -850 odds at FanDuel with two football weekends remaining before votes are due.
The 23rd-ranked Buffalos saw their four-game win streak end with a 37-21 loss at Kansas. Late-season losses typically detail a player’s Heisman chances but that usually occurs with a quarterback. Hunter saw his odds move from -400 to -850.
A large reason for that is Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty struggling by his standards, rushing for 169 yards at Wyoming with one touchdown. The Broncos only won 17-13 against the 2-9 Coyotes.
Jeanty remains the second favorite but his odds shifted from +400 to +550 odds.
A few weeks ago, Miami quarterback Cam Ward was the Heisman betting favorite but Miami suffered its first loss, falling at Georgia Tech. Ward is now the third favorite with +1400 odds.
Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel held the favorite status for a few weeks but he has +6000 odds. The Ducks remain undefeated and have already clinched a spot in the Big Ten title game.
Three schools have a path to face Oregon but #2 Ohio State is the only one that controls its own destiny. The Buckeyes host rival Michigan as 21-point favorites on Saturday.
