We have two exciting matchups for conference championship weekend in the NFL. Four heavyweights will try to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Here are the bets you might want to consider for Sunday’s games.
Season Record: 24-35-4
49ers at Eagles (-2.5)
Pick: Eagles -2.5
After the Eagles destroyed my Giants a week ago, I can’t pick against them anymore. I have that sinking feeling that they are going to go all the way. While I am not one of those fans who believes Brock Purdy will all of a sudden turn in a dud of a performance, this is definitely the toughest test he has faced yet. The 49ers offensive line is very strong, but the Eagles pass rush is relentless. This should be a tight game, but the Eagles should be able to cover in this spot.
Bengals at Chiefs (-1)
Pick: Bengals +1
There is a lot of buzz about Patrick Mahomes being good to go this week despite hurting his ankle against the Jaguars. Even if he is good to go, the Bengals are my pick here. It is essentially a pick ’em. It is easy to forget that the Bengals started the season 0-2, and although Buffalo has played sloppy football, beating them by 17 in their building is an impressive feat. The Bengals came into Arrowhead last year and won, so they won’t be intimidated by playing on the road. Cincinnati is dealing with injuries on the offensive line, but Joe Burrow was running for his life for the whole playoffs last year. Ja’Marr Chase has a track record of wrecking games against Kansas City as well. Expect the Bengals to cover and go to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row.
