After leading a resounding 20-point win over the defending champions, Cade Cunningham is now a -240 favorite at DraftKings to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award.

The Detroit Pistons have now won eight straight games for the first time since 2008, while also snapping a run of 12 straight losses against the Boston Celtics.

In his fourth season, Cunningham ranks tenth in scoring with 25.8 points and third with 9.5 assists. That’s an increase of 3.1 PPG and 2.0 APG from last year.

Detroit is now the Eastern Conference’s sixth seed, hoping to reach the postseason for the first time since 2019. It has not finished higher than an eighth since 2008.
