Dodgers, Yankees enter playoffs as favorites

The betting market indicates that baseball’s dream scenario is favored to unfold, with major market teams favored to capture the pennant.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the +360 betting favorite to win the World Series at DraftKings, while the New York Yankees are the second favorite with +425 odds.

The Philadelphia Phillies are lurking with +475 odds before a dropoff to the Houston Astros at +800 odds. They’re followed by the Cleveland Guardians at +950 odds, which is arguably the sport’s most surprise team.

Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and Cleveland all have a bye in the first round.

The Dodgers and Yankees are each +175 favorites to win their respective leagues and meet in the World Series.

The Kansas City Royals (+2500) and Detroit Tigers (+2800) are the biggest longshots, while the New York Mets (+2000) have the longest odds of all National League teams.
