Early money on Irish against Buckeyes (-8)

Ohio State remains a solid favorite over Notre Dame in the national championship game but the respected money has arrived on the underdog with the point spread.

The opening consensus line was 9.5 points before the point spread moved to 8 points. The sharp bettors who influence the odds have backed the Fighting Irish.

The two blue bloods will square off on Jan. 20 at 7:30pm in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The over/under for Sunday’s game is 46.5.
