Edey now +600 Rookie of Year favorite

Following his summer league debut, Zach Edey is the new Rookie of the Year betting favorite with +600 odds at both DraftKings and FanDuel.

The two-time Wooden Award winner was drafted ninth overall by the Memphis Grizzlies. His opening odds were in the neighborhood of +1000.

The Purdue product posted 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks against the Utah Jazz in his debut.

Second overall pick Alexandre Sarr of the Washington Wizards was the original favorite but he now has the second-shorted odds at +700.
