For the third straight year, Scottie Scheffler begins the FedEx Cup playoffs in first place in the standings yet he has yet to convert either of those first two leads. Scheffler is the odds-on -130 favorite at Caesars and hopes to break through and claim his first PGA Tour Championship in the season-long race.

Scheffler, the tour’s only six-time winner this season and Olympic gold medalist, maintains nearly a 2,000-point lead over Xander Schauffele (+400), this year’s only two-time major champion winner.

Throughout 2024, PGA Tour players have competed in 36 FedEx Cup events, which include all four Majors, as well as significant prize money and FedEx Cup points. Regular tournaments offered 500 points for the winner, while the eight “Signature Events” handed out 700 for its champion.

Additionally, non-signature event winners earned 300 FedEx Cup points towards their season total. Any player who made the cut also picked up points and a paycheck, leading to the final FedEx Cup standings.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship kicks off the playoffs in Memphis, at TPC Southwind. With the FedEx St. Jude Championship and the BMW Championship, each carrying 2,000 available FEC points, the odds and the leaderboard can change quickly.
