In a matter of a week, Josh Allen’s NFL MVP odds have shifted from -900 to -240 at DraftKings – not due to his play but because of Lamar Jackson’s stellar play.

Jackson is now a +180 second favorite to win his third MVP. On Christmas Day, the reigning MVP threw two touchdown passes and ran for another one, including 87 yards rushing.

Jackson currently sits fifth in passing yards with 37 TD passes and just four interceptions.

Allen and the Buffalo Bills are positioned for the #2 seed, while Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens are headed for the #3 seed.

Two weeks ago, Allen finished with three touchdown passes, while running for another three TD in a 44-42 loss at the Los Angeles Rams.

Three weeks ago, in perhaps the season’s most memorable play, Allen recorded a unique receiving touchdown in snowy conditions on national television.

Allen completed a pass to Amari Cooper but as the wide receiver was being tackled, he lateraled the ball to his quarterback, who then raced to the endzone to score a TD by diving and extending the ball inside the pylon. The home crowd at Orchard Park celebrated and the primetime audience witnessed a dominating effort.

Saquon Barkley (+1400) is the third favorite.
