As they usually do, oddsmakers are using popular sports stories to generate betting interest.
Following the huge NBA trade with Luka Doncic dealt from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers, DraftKings posted odds for their next meeting on Feb. 25.
The Laker are 5-point home favorites in what will be the first meeting of Doncic against the only team he’s played for, while Anthony Davis will face the team where he won his only championship.
The over/under is 226.5 points.
