Over the past month, Arizona Diamondbacks standout Ketel Marte has catapulted his team into the divisional race and himself into the NL MVP discussion.

The D’Backs have gone 18-6 since July 9th and now trail the Los Angeles Dodgers by just 3.5 games in the NL West. Plus, Arizona is currently a Wild Card team.

Additionally, the two-time All-Star is now the second MVP favorite with +600 odds. During Arizona’s 18-6 run, Marte has batted .352 with 12 homers and 29 RBI.

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers is the overwhelming favorite with -1000 odds.
