Mega Football Weekend Betting Preview

By Ryan Bologna

We’re coming down the stretch in the regular season in college football, and we’re just over the halfway point in the NFL. Here are some of the best games to bet on for this weekend.

Season Record: 13-17-3

No. 7 USC (-2.5) @ No. 16 UCLA

Pick: UCLA +2.5

Lincoln Riley’s first season with the Trojans might seem really good on the surface, but if you have followed along, USC does not have one win against a ranked opponent this year. People might look at the ranking and record and think USC will roll here, but this is a tougher game than some might expect. UCLA could definitely cover, and might even win outright.

Commanders (-3) @ Texans

Pick: Commanders -3

This is arguably one of the easier picks of the weekend. Washington has played great football since a 1-4 start. Even the loss to the Vikings was a very close game. Davis Mills can get rattled, and anyone who watched him play against the Giants last week saw that. Washington arguably has a better defensive line than the Giants, and they could be getting Chase Young back this week.

Cowboys (-1.5) @ Vikings

Pick: Vikings +1.5

This is one of the biggest games in week 11 for the NFL. Minnesota just won what might have been the game of the year against the Bills last week. Dallas is coming off a brutal loss to the Packers, and this is usually the time of year when things start to unravel for the Cowboys. The Vikings are home dogs here, and they definitely could win outright.

Gas Station Sushi (Stay Away)

Rams @ Saints (-3)

This is a matchup of two teams who have disappointed so far this year. The defending Super Bowl champion Rams have struggled on offense. Matthew Stafford doesn’t seem the same, and Cooper Kupp is going to be out for this game due to injury. The Saints are sticking with Andy Dalton at quarterback for this game. You don’t know what you are going to get from either team, but it likely won’t be pretty. Stay away from betting on this game.
