The Heisman Trophy betting market has changed drastically one week after a star quarterback became an odds-on favorite.

Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is the new favorite at +180 at DraftKings Sportsbook, after the second-ranked Wolverines blew out rival Michigan State, 49-0. The junior has 17 total touchdowns and three interceptions.

Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. became a -140 favorite a week ago but that was short-lived, following a pedestrian 15-7 win over Arizona State in which the offense did not score a single touchdown. Penix is now the second-favorite at +300.

LSU’s Jayden Daniels (+600), FSU’s Jordan Travis (+800) and Oklahoma’s Dillon Gabriel (+800) all remain in the picture.

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has the lowest odds of any non-QB at +3000.
