MLB Prop Platter: June 23

By Kenny Burgess

Welcome to the daily MLB player props picks! We’re looking at some of the most enticing player props and diving into why we like these picks.

Jeff McNeil O 1.5 Bases +130

Last year’s batting champ hasn’t been the same player we saw last year. McNeil is currently hitting .267, but he’s much more capable than he’s been so far this season. McNeil has shown over the course of his career that he doesn’t slump for long and when he gets hits, they typically come in bunches. In 74 games played so far this season, McNeil has recorded 21 multi-hit efforts. I like McNeil’s matchup tonight against the Phillies starter, Taijuan Walker, and Citizen Bank Park is a very hitter-friendly ballpark.

Ronald Acuna Jr. O 1.5 Bases -155

Ronald Acuna Jr. is in the midst of a historic season and is currently hitting .324 with an impressive .952 OPS. Acuna has also hit on average hitting .302 over his last 15 games. I like Acuna to have a big night tonight because of his history against the Reds’ projected starter, Luke Weaver. In 11 career at-bats against Weaver, Acuna has hit .364. While it is a small sample size, Acuna has seen him well. Combined with the fact that Acuna has been hitting everyone so far this season, I like Acuna to have a big night.

Manny Machado O 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs -160

Manny Machado is coming off a two-hit game (one double, one homerun) where he racked up a total of seven hits+runs+RBIs. Machado is on a nice run, clearing today’s line of 1.5 in 12 of his last 16 games, and in his last 15 games, he’s been hitting .323 with four home runs. Machado takes on left-hander Patrick Corbin today, and in 20 plate appearances vs. Corbin, he has five singles, one double, and one homerun (batting .377 vs. LHPs this season).

I really like all these picks tonight and if you’re feeling just as confident as me, you could parlay all these picks at +514. This would be a nice payout if all of these picks cash. Either way best, of luck to all tonight and hopefully we win some money.
