Welcome to the daily MLB player props picks! We’re looking at some of the most enticing player props and diving into why we like the picks.
Marcus Stroman O 4.5 Strikeouts -140
Marcus Stroman has simply been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season and has a 2.76 ERA to go along with 92 strikeouts. In his 18 starts, Stroman has struck out at least five batters 13 times and he’s done it in six of his last seven starts. Stroman is also going up against the swing-happy Brewers tonight, who are fourth in all of baseball in terms of strikeouts.
Freddie Freeman O 1.5 Bases +105
Anytime Freddie Freeman’s total baseline is plus money at over 1.5, it’s never a bad bet. Freeman leads the MLB in doubles and he can easily hit this over with one swing of the bat. Freeman also comes into tonight’s game with an incredible .315 average and .921 OPS. Plus, Freeman has a favorable matchup tonight against Pirates right-hander Johan Oviedo.
Jack Flaherty O 17.5 Outs Recorded -115
Jack Flaherty has had an up-and-down season for the Cardinals, but I like him to go at least six innings tonight against the Marlins. Flaherty has been much better on the road this season (a 3.73 ERA away vs. 5.86 at home) and he’s gone at least six innings in four of his last six starts. The Marlins also have the third-lowest walk total in the NL this year, which should help Flaherty get deeper into this game.
I really like all these picks tonight and if you’re feeling just as confident as me, you could parlay all these picks at +557. This would be a nice payout if all of these picks cash. Either way, best of luck to all tonight and hopefully we win some money.
