MLB Prop Platter: July 7

By Kenny Burgess

Welcome to the daily MLB player props picks! We’re looking at some of the most enticing player props and diving into why we like the picks.

Trea Turner O 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs -135

The Phillies’ marquee free-agent acquisition has underperformed thus far this season, but he seems to be turning a corner as of late. Trea Turner is hitting .290 over his last seven games and has a good history against Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara. In 30 career at-bats against Alcantara, Turner has hit .400 to go along with five RBIs. I like Turner to at least get a knock and the Phillies have been hot so he could easily be hitting with runners on base or get driven in by his teammates.

Jordan Montgomery O 16.5 Outs Recorded -140

Jordan Montgomery has been fantastic for the Cardinals all season and he’s scorching hot right now. In his last seven starts, Montgomery has an ERA of 1.66 and recorded 17 outs in six of those seven games. I also like Montgomery’s matchup tonight against the Chicago White Sox, who walk the least of any American League team, and it should help Montgomery get deep into this game.

Hunter Brown O 5.5 Strikeouts -165

The Astros’ young right-hander has been dominant so far this season and is a true strikeout pitcher. Hunter Brown has 103 strikeouts over 91 innings and has struck out six-plus batters in eight of his last nine games. Brown will also be up against the Seattle Mariners, who are second in all of baseball when it comes to strikeouts.

I really like all these picks tonight and if you’re feeling just as confident as me, you could parlay all these picks at +379. This would be a nice payout if all of these picks cash. Either way, best of luck to all tonight and hopefully we win some money.
