Virginia 7-1 (+320)
Virginia has reclaimed the top spot in the national rankings with an impressive win against former No. 1-ranked Norte Dame. The team showed its strength with a 15-10 victory, proving Virginia is a force to be reckoned with this season. Currently sitting at 474 points, the Cavaliers have cemented themselves as a top contender for the national championship, and their next matchup against Duke, who is currently ranked fourth in the country, promises to be a thrilling game. Despite being ranked No. 1, Virginia’s odds to win the national championship are still a respectable +320, showing that the competition this season is fierce.
Maryland 6-2 (+450)
Maryland sits second in the country, having secured an impressive 13-10 victory against No. 11-ranked Penn State. The Terrapins now have 442 points to their name and their next matchup is against Michigan. Maryland’s strong performance throughout the season has led to favorable odds of +450 for winning the national championship, and fans are eagerly anticipating the team’s continued success on the field. With a talented roster and a history of success, Maryland is a formidable contender in the world of college lacrosse.
Notre Dame 6-1 (+320)
Notre Dame suffered a loss to Virginia, who is now back to being ranked No. 1, causing them to drop to third in the rankings. Despite the loss, the Fighting Irish still have an impressive record with 440 points as of now. Notre Dame’s next matchup will be against Syracuse, which will be a tough challenge as Syracuse is a strong team. Notre Dame has shown resilience and determination throughout the season, and with its talented players, it has a good chance of winning its upcoming games. Notre Dame’s odds to win the national championship are still high at +320, which means it’s still considered one of the top contenders in college lacrosse.
Duke 9-1 (+800)
The Blue Devils have regained their spot in the top five, now ranked fourth in the country. Duke had a solid 12-9 win against St. Josephs and currently has 415 points, however, its next matchup will be a tough one as it faces off against Virginia. Duke’s odds of winning the national championship are currently +800 and it will have to continue to play at a high level to compete with some of the top teams in the country. It will be interesting to see how Duke performs against Virginia and other top teams as the season progresses.
Cornell 6-1 (+1400)
As of now, Cornell is currently seated at No. 5 in the country. Cornell recently had an impressive 18-12 win against Penn and has accumulated 389 points so far this season. Cornell’s next matchup will be against Dartmouth, which is expected to be a challenging game for both sides. Despite its strong performance this season, Cornell’s odds of winning the national championship currently stand at +1400. However, with its skill and determination, Cornell could certainly make a push for the title in the coming games.
