Notre Dame 8-1 (NC odds: +330)

With a record of 8-1 and 438 total points, the team is looking strong as it heads into its next game against No. 11 North Carolina. This past weekend, the Fighting Irish secured a 17-12 victory against No. 3 Duke, solidifying their position at the top of the rankings. With odds of +330 to win the national championship, Notre Dame looks like a top contender in the race for the title.
Virginia 8-1 (NC odds: +330)
Virginia men’s lacrosse team has been performing well this season, with a current record of 8-2 and a total of 410 points so far. After dropping to the third position, Virginia climbed back up to second place in the rankings. In the last game, the team beat North Carolina 19-12, and now prepare to play against Duke in what should be a thrilling match-up. With both teams having a strong chance of winning the national championship, the stakes will be high. Currently, the odds for Virginia to win the championship are +330. Duke 10-2 (NC odds: +450)
Duke men’s lacrosse team has been one of the top teams in the country this season, but they recently suffered a loss to No. 1 Notre Dame, causing it to drop in the rankings. However, with a record of 10-2 and 406 total points so far, Duke still has a strong chance of making it to the national championship. This weekend, the team will face off against No. 2 Virginia, which should be an exciting matchup. The odds for them to win the national championship are currently +450, and with Duke’s talented roster, it will definitely be a team to watch as the season progresses.
Maryland 7-3 (NC odds: +650)
Maryland bounced back after a tough loss and climbed up to No. 4 in the rankings. With a record of 7-3 and a total of 368 points, the Terrapins have been putting up a strong performance. Last weekend, Maryland narrowly defeated Ohio State with a score of 12-11, but moving forward, they have a challenging game against Rutgers, who are also a highly competitive team. Although Maryland’s odds to win the national championship are currently set at +650, the team is known for its ability to overcome adversity and make impressive comebacks.
Penn State 7-3 (NC odds: +1800)
Penn State is currently ranked fifth in the country with a record of 7-3 and a total of 344 points — this past weekend, it had a nail-biting 12-11 win against Johns Hopkins in overtime. Penn State has had a solid season so far, with notable wins against highly-ranked teams like Cornell and Ohio State, and will be looking to continue its success in the upcoming game against Michigan. Despite its impressive performance, the odds for Penn State to win the national championship are currently +1800, indicating the team is seen as a bit of an underdog compared to other top-ranked teams.
