New NBA Rookie of Year favorite

Following the best game of his young career, top overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher is now the betting favorite for the NBA Rookie of the Year award with +350 odds at DraftKings.

The 19-year-old French national posted a team-high 33 points in the Atlanta Hawks’ 121-116 win over the New York Knicks as seven-point home underdogs. He shot 11-18 from the field, including 6-10 from three-point territory. Risacher’s previous high was 17 points.

Zach Edey of the Memphis Grizzlies, who entered the season as the favorites, is next with +370 odds.

At FanDuel, Edey also has +350 odds, making him and Risacher the co-favorites.
