Earlier this season, Yankees star Aaron Judge caused quite a bit of controversy without saying a word… until he did. During a tense matchup between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre in Toronto, a moment captured on camera caught the attention of keen-eyed viewers. As Judge stood on second base, he glanced down the first base line, seemingly shifting his eyes back and forth in a manner that most viewers found unusual. In that same at-bat, Judge crushed a 460+ ft home run. After the game, Aaron Judge was asked about the controversial moment, and his explanation shocked everyone.
“There was a lot of chirping from our dugout, which I really didn’t like in the situation where it’s a 6-0 game,” Judge said. “I know Boonie got tossed — I was trying to save Boonie by calling timeout, like, ‘Hold up here, let me work.’ I was trying to see who was chirping in the dugout.”
In a loud stadium packed with 40,000 people, one of the best baseball players on the planet can’t concentrate when a couple of his teammates are “chirping in the dugout”? Suspicious to say the least. Is it a coincidence that Judge went yard after the incident too? Watch the above video to find out what Kenny and Callie think about Aaron Judge’s shifty eyes!
