Oilers (-120) favored to avoid sweep

Canada’s 31-year Stanley Cup drought is expected to extend but the Edmonton Oilers are -120 home favorites to avoid the Stanley Cup Final sweep.

The Florida Panthers held off Edmonton’s third-period flurry to prevail in Game 3, winning 4-3 as +120 underdogs.

The Panthers are now -2500 favorites at DraftKings to win the franchise’s first championship. Only once has a team ever rallied from a 3-0 series deficit in the Stanley Cup final, which came in 1942.

Florida goalie Sergie Brobrovsky is a -470 favorite at FanDuel to win the Conn Smythe Award, which is the playoff MVP. Center Aleksander Barkov is the second favorite at +390.
