A tiger is on top of the food chain as usual and just ate up a flounder. Phil Mickelson has been in the news cycle for his controversial comments about the PGA. In December, Phil thanked his fans for helping him win the PGA’s inaugural Player Impact Program (PIP). However, Tiger Woods was named the actual winner this week.
That isn’t even the funniest thing about the situation. Don’t let the name of the award fool you. It is essentially a social media beauty contest. Tiger has not played in a professional tournament since the 2020 Masters and Phil missed more cuts than he had top 50 finishes. Their reward? $8 MILLION to Tiger while healing on the couch all year and $6 MILLION to Phil for finishing in second.
