There is a pretty wide gap between my desire to watch this game compared to my desire to bet it. I’m all in on watching it. I just don’t have a firm read on this. Really interesting Thursday night college football matchup in the ACC. Virginia Tech hosting Boston College at Lane Stadium. The Hokies s7.5 point favorites over/under 48.5. Both teams coming off their bye.

I really like Boston College coach Bill O’Brien. He’s got that NFL pedigree. Obviously he’s done a really nice job at the college level. Even going back to when he coached Penn State briefly. I think this BC team, I mean they’ve struggled. 0-3 ATS after starting the year 3-0, they lost their quarterback for one game. I like them early on because I think he scripts plays, he game plans. So I like BC first quarter and first half. I don’t know what’s happening to this team in the second half. Maybe they’re just at a talent disadvantage.

The concern I have is I really like Drones, the quarterback of the Hokies, and I like what they’ve been able to do. We saw them play against Miami, wild finish in that one, but they nearly upset the undefeated Hurricanes, and they just make plays. So part of me wants is waiting for a second half under just because this BC offense seems to just hit a wall after halftime.

So that’s where my head’s at. I’m leaning BC first half and first quarter for that matter and then waiting for a halftime bet second half under. That’s as much I can come up with as of now, but I really, really am excited to watch this game.
