Las Vegas is no stranger to spectacles on the Las Vegas Strip, but this will certainly be one unlike any other. Caitlin Clark in town to face the Aces. Now this time, as opposed to the previous meeting, they moved the game to T -Mobile Arena, the bigger arena where the Golden Knights play, where a lot of the UFC is held just because of the demand around the holiday weekend with Caitlin Clark and the Fever. So it should be pretty crazy atmosphere. And the Aces are finally playing like they should be playing.

Alright, so the Aces are huge favorites here. 13 point favorites with the over -under of 174.5. Now the last time they played it was a horrible scheduling spot for Indiana. They had just played in LA on Friday night, won, and then come in Vegas on Saturday and they had played, remember that stretch of 11 games in 20 days. Again, they were on fumes. Now, Las Vegas has added Chelsea Gray since that game as well. They’re 4-0 since her return and get this, in those four games her plus minus, plus 51 in 86 minutes of play.

So the point God that she is such a valuable piece running and orchestrating that offense. Remember she is a finals MVP as well. So not just a random player that’s returning. She’s part of their big four. If you count Jackie Young, Kelsey Plum, and of course, A’ja Wilson. So I leaned to the underdog here. I think the fever is starting to figure some things out, but Sunday’s win in Phoenix, when they were down 15 or more, is the first this year against a team with a winning record.

So they’ve taken care of business against the Mystics, the Sky, the Sparks, the Dream, but the Aces and other winning teams are a different ask. Now you’re just asking them to cover 13 points, not win outright. And it’s a better scheduling spot as opposed to last time. So I’ll take the dog plus the 13, but with Chelsea Gray back, I’m a little uneasy. Also don’t forget, Caitlin Clark did not attend the post game press conference on Sunday in Phoenix because she was feeling under the weather.

Granted, it’s a couple of days later. She obviously played great, was one rebound shy of a triple double, but all things, all reasons I’m saying, yeah, I’m just a lean, a lean to the dog plus the points.
