Stop me if you’ve heard this before, Caitlin Clark on national television in primetime. Yes, game one of a doubleheader on NBA TV. Clark and the fever in Atlanta. Indy, short road favorites minus two against the dream over under 166. Now, very important to realize this Atlanta team since coming back from the Olympic break, way better than what we saw going into the break. Rhyne Howard, former rookie of the year and definitely their best player, back from injury, playing really well, but the team just is so complimented around her. Jordin Canada is a strong point guard when she’s healthy. They’re so much better. Allisha Gray is a complimentary piece instead of being the focal point. And then the bigs getting some, doing some damage as well. Naz Hillmon playing as well on the blocks. So I think the fever or a sucker bet. My initial reaction would be to lay it with Indy coming off the performance against Minnesota on the road, but Atlanta’s a tough place to play.
It’s going to be an electric atmosphere just given Caitlin Clark’s in town. And I think this dream team’s been playing really well three and one since the break. And those wins against Seattle, Connecticut and Phoenix. So some of the best teams in the league with Seattle and Connecticut. So like I said, much different team. I think the fever eke it out. Now I do lean to the over as well. I do think we’re going to see some points, but my hesitation is just reading the screen.
Some of the books that I really value with their WNBA spread and opinion, they’re lower. They’re 165 and a half instead of 166. So they’ve been on the lower end of the market. So that gives me a little pause, but eventually I think I’m gonna have to pull the trigger a little bit on the over.
