The NFL season is alive and well. How about that for an opener? It looked like an easy Chiefs cover, then sweating it out at the end. And obviously the toe on the line prevented us from seeing a two point conversion to decide the winner of the game. So anybody who was a Ravens backer in the points especially was heartbroken on that front and the game lands 47.

And we figure to have another good matchup, but this one in Brazil, Eagles and Packers start the season overseas. And Philly, a two point favorite here on this neutral site, the over/under 49, there’s some 49 and a halfs popping up as well. I think this comes down to two things. How good are the Packers really, right? We saw them in the second half of last year, strong charge to the playoffs, get the road playoff win in Dallas, and then nearly take down the Niners, but collapse in the second half and then Philly was this all world team to start the season and then didn’t even win their division. So the best record through 12 games and then don’t win the division. Have Jalen Hurts and Coach Sirianni really worked out their differences or did they just say that to hopefully move the reporters along? Nothing to see here, so to speak.

I have concern here. I lean Philly. I don’t believe in this Packers team big picture. I think Philly has brought in the right pieces, addressed some issues, but they lost Jason Kelce, their stud center. But I do like bringing in Barkley. They’re just some question marks of Philly though. Over/unders, last year, remember, unders were the story of the season for the first like five or six weeks. We did see an over on Thursday night by a hook, as it closed 46 and a half, but unders in week one, the last two years, 23 and nine to the under. So let’s call it 23 and 10 to the under after last night.New kickoff rules, I don’t think are gonna really impact it that much. So I leaned to Philly, but it’s not a big play for me at all.
