For those who watch this show know that I really like focusing on pitchers who have been dominant and Tarik Skubal is right now the favorite to win the American League MVP and you can get him at a very cheap price. How about minus 105? Let’s take a look with the Tigers in Cleveland to face the Guardians. So an AL Central matchup. There’s your money line minus 105 both sides, seven and a half year over under. It’s the first time Skubal and the opposing pitcher, Carlos Carrasco have faced each other in terms of the opposing lineup. So we don’t have any reference points for, you know, reference from this season in terms of those exact lineups. But I mean, look at Skubal, he’s just been fantastic this year. And if you look at his last recent outings, obviously he had one inning in the All -Star game, shut out, that’s fine.

So you’re looking at a guy who’s used to one or two runs for the most part in a lot of outings. Now he did get nicked up a little bit in June, I think anytime you can get Skubal at this price, I think you bet it. Now Carrasco had a rough outing six starts ago and then his last five starts, he’s been fairly solid. 3 .46 ERA during that run. So if you look at the first five over under three and a half plus money on the under, it’s a sweat because any crooked number and you’re in trouble. But I do lean that way. I think both guys are going to be pitching well, but I don’t think Carrasco’s that solid. I think the Tigers can get to them. So I would lay the 105 with Detroit, but I do have an eye on the over under as well.
